The Dunedin Falcon football team played their first football game ever at home on September 24, 1960

Dunedin football has had many great players selected to the All State team. First team selections include Gary Funk (1962), Chris Vaughn (1980), Craig Blanks (1981), Michael Clemons (1982), Stacey Simmons (1985), Tyrone Mouzon (1987), Brian Montgomery (1987), Karl McGill (1988), Roosevelt Givens (1990), and Adarius Bellamy (2007).

Dunedin Falcon football has had much success since it’s beginning, winning district championships, regional championships, and making the state final in 1986 and 1987, falling short in both years.
